As Ghana inches closer to its general national elections, pollsters, research experts, prophets, and Imams will begin the usual ritual of predicting the election results, especially of the presidential race.
A recent poll conducted by popular research ‘house’, Global Info Analytics makes very interesting predictions. The research was conducted in five key districts of the Eastern Region of Ghana. In it, Dr. Bawumia leads the Presidential race by 54%. The poll districts are Asuogyaman, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano, Suhum, and Akwatia, all in the Eastern Region of the country.

This results indicates that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is leading the race against former President John Mahama, with a commanding 54% to Mahama’s 31% in the focus areas.
