As part of activities marking its 30th Anniversary Celebration and Jamboree, the Konongo-Mampong Diocesan Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) organized a Morning Fitness Session for Crusaders on Saturday, 1st August, 2026 at Effiduase.

The fitness exercise, held in the early hours of the day, brought together over a thousand Crusaders from the Diocese. The session featured jogging, aerobic exercises, stretching, and other physical activities aimed at promoting healthy living, teamwork, discipline, and physical well-being among members.
The energetic atmosphere reflected the enthusiasm and unity of the Crusaders as they actively participated under the guidance of the organizers. The exercise also provided an opportunity for members from the various deaneries to interact and strengthen the bonds of friendship throughout the jamboree.
Diocesan CYO leaders encouraged Crusaders to adopt healthy lifestyles by engaging in regular physical exercise, emphasizing that physical fitness complements spiritual growth and contributes to holistic personal development.
The morning fitness session formed part of the week-long anniversary programme, which continues with spiritual formation, leadership activities, sporting events, cultural displays, and other competitions designed to celebrate 30 years of dedicated service to God, the Church, and the nation under the theme: “30 Years: Crusaders for a Synodal Church of Justice and Peace in Ghana.”
