Ibrahim Mahama Donates Food Items to Ghana Prisons Service
Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, the Minister for the Interior, has donated a massive food supply to the Ghana Prisons Service on behalf of renowned businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. The donation, which includes 1000 bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, and tin tomatoes, aims to support the feeding of inmates during the Ramadan season. The supplies will be distributed across ten prisons nationwide, including Nsawam and Kumasi Central. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Hon. Muntaka reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of both officers and inmates in the prison system, underscoring the importance of corporate and public support to improve conditions in Ghana’s prisons.
