The government has mobilized GHC 600,000 in immediate support, including a GHC 500,000 donation from a philanthropist and an additional GHC 100,000 relief package for the most vulnerable victims. President John Dramani Mahama has directed NADMO to provide immediate assistance and is coordinating further financial support through the Chief of Staff and the Ashanti Regional Minister.
