Hon. Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, the Minister for the Interior, has lifted the curfew on Kpatinga Township.
This was stated in a press release issued by the sector minister, Hon. Mubarak Muntaka, on Friday, March 28, 2025.
The Minister for the Interior, upon the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council, has lifted the curfew on Kpatinga and its environs in the Northern Region with immediate effect.
The decision was taken following the genuine commitment of the chiefs and people of the area to sustaining peace, along with improvements in the security situation.
The release expressed appreciation to the chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, youth, and residents of the area and urged them to resolve their issues peacefully.
