Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s Minister for Finance, has issued a stern warning that individuals validating ghost names on the government payroll will be held accountable. Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show on July 25, 2025, Dr. Forson disclosed that the Auditor-General has identified over 14,000 ghost names and 53,000 separated names, calling for urgent action
