Old Tafo MP Files Motion to Injunct the Suspension of Chief Justice Torkornoo
Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah, MP for Old Tafo, has filed a motion seeking an injunction against the suspension of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo. In his suit dated April 24, Assafuah argues that the President’s actions – based on unnotified petitions – violate Article 146 of the Constitution, rendering the process null and void.

Chief Justice Torkornoo Requests for Copies of Petitions Seeking Her Removal from Mahama
Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has formally requested copies of petitions submitted by former President John Mahama seeking her removal from office. The petitions were earlier sent to the Council of State for consultation.
