The revered Asantehene was celebrated as a Distinguished Pillar of Peace for his enduring role in promoting stability and unity.

The high-profile event brought together global dignitaries, traditional authorities, and policymakers, reflecting Ghana’s growing reputation as a centre for dialogue, diplomacy, and cultural leadership. The atmosphere was marked by admiration and respect for a king whose influence transcends borders.
Speakers at the event highlighted the Asantehene’s remarkable record in resolving complex chieftaincy and national disputes. Notable among these were mediation efforts in Adonten, Tafo, Tepa, Dagbon, Sampa, and Bawku—cases that have significantly contributed to peacebuilding and conflict resolution across Ghana.
His role in restoring calm in areas of tension has positioned him as a trusted voice of reason and a unifying figure. Many described him as a custodian of justice, whose wisdom continues to guide communities through some of their most difficult moments.

The occasion was further dignified by the presence of the Ogiame Atuwatse III, alongside his wife, Olori Atuwatse III, symbolising strong ties between traditional institutions across Africa.

Several prominent personalities delivered speeches in honour of the Asantehene, including Samuel Esson Jonah as Special Guest of Honour, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration, and Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

Also in attendance were the Former President H.E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whose presence emphasized the national importance of the event.
