Millennium Excellence Awards 2025 Celebrates African Greatness in Grand Style at Manhyia Palace

The Millennium Excellence Awards 2025 took centre stage at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Friday, May 9, drawing together a prestigious gathering of leaders, innovators, cultural icons, and public servants from Ghana and across the African continent.

The night was filled with pride and recognition as outstanding individuals and institutions were honoured in various categories, including leadership, innovation, education, healthcare, culture, arts, business, and humanitarian work.

Graced by His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene and patron of the awards, the event was a showcase of African excellence and a tribute to the many trailblazers shaping the continent’s future. Also present were high-ranking diplomats, traditional leaders, and public officials.

In a moving speech, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II applauded the honourees for their contributions, saying, “We must continue to celebrate those who give their best for Africa. Their courage and commitment should inspire the next generation.”

The Millennium Excellence Foundation, organisers of the event, reaffirmed their mission to promote integrity, leadership, and sustainable development through public recognition and celebration of excellence.
