Three New Teams in the Premier League
There are three new faces in the 2026/27 Premier League.
Coventry City is back to the 2026/27 EPL
Coventry City return to the Premier League after securing promotion from the Championship. They join the top flight as one of the three promoted clubs for the new season.
Ipswich Town reappears in the 2026/27 EPL Season
Ipswich Town also return to the Premier League after earning promotion from the Championship. Their promotion marked another significant chapter in the club’s recent rise.
Hull City returns to stun the bigwigs
Hull City completed the promoted trio by winning the Championship play-off final. The Tigers defeated Middlesbrough 1-0 at Wembley to secure their return to the Premier League after nine years away.
Interestingly, Hull have already made headlines in the new campaign after defeating Manchester United 2-0 in their opening fixture.

The three clubs that dropped out of the Premier League at the end of the 2025/26 season were:

- Burnley

The 2026/27 Premier League Clubs
