Miss Hannah Tawia Hodofe, the youngest society steward in the Tarkwa Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana, has been awarded a full scholarship by the Diocese.
The announcement was made during the 40th-anniversary celebration of the Tarkwa Diocese, where the fourteen-year-old Hannah was recognized for her remarkable contributions and dedication. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Dua Dodd, Bishop of the Tarkwa Diocese, revealed that the Diocese would sponsor Hannah’s education from Junior High School through to her tertiary studies.
Hannah Tawia Hodofe was honored with a citation which was presented to her by the Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana. This accolade underscores the Diocese’s recognition of her exceptional role and potential. During the ceremony, the Presiding Bishop emphasized that Hannah is a valuable asset to the church and that it is the church’s responsibility to support her educational journey and overall well-being.
The scholarship signifies the Diocese’s commitment to nurturing young talents and leaders, ensuring that dedicated individuals like Hannah can continue to grow and make impactful contributions to their communities and beyond.
Both the Presiding Bishop and the Bishop of Tarkwa Diocese congratulated Hannah for her outstanding role at such a young age and offered their prayers for her future.
