Dr. Linus Kweku Labik and Dr. Antoinette Simpah Anim-Jnr have been officially inducted into the Ghana Young Academy (GYA), a recognition that underscores their dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation within their respective fields.
Dr. Linus Kweku Labik, a Lecturer at the Physics Department has been acknowledged for his pioneering work in sustainable energy.

His research spans lithium-ion battery systems, low-carbon construction materials, and physics education. Notably, Dr. Labik is the first Ghanaian to receive the esteemed Simons Foundation Pivot Fellowship, a testament to his innovative contributions to energy and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Antoinette Simpah Anim-Jnr, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science at KNUST, has made remarkable strides in animal nutrition and sustainable agricultural practices.

Her research focuses on the management of monogastric and small ruminant animals, utilizing underexploited feed resources, and has earned international acclaim. With a PhD from KNUST and experience at the International Sheep Research Centre in New Zealand, Dr. Anim-Jnr’s work continues to shape the future of animal science in Ghana.
