The Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Ghana and Angola was played on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Angola on a remarkable eight-match winning streak extended their unbeaten run in Group F, while Ghana needed a victory to keep their qualification hopes alive for the 2025 tournament in Morocco.
Ghana took an early lead with an incredible free-kick goal by Jordan Ayew in the 19th minute and Angola responded with a goal from Felicio Milson leveling the game at 1-1. Despite Ghana’s efforts the game ended draw and the results was not enough to help Ghana in their qualifying campaign.
Angola remained in a dominant position at the top of Group F, with 13 points from five matches, while Ghana is at the bottom with only two points and they are out of contention for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
