Across generations, the vision of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah continues to echo strongly across Africa. His famous declaration, “Seek ye first the political kingdom and all other things shall be added unto it,” was not merely a political slogan. It was a bold call for freedom, unity and purposeful development for the African continent.
Nkrumah imagined an Africa that would rise beyond the painful struggles of colonial rule. In his words, he saw “the mother of African unity and independence,” whose sons and daughters had sacrificed greatly to break the chains of imperialism.
