Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, has been appointed as the new Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations. Her selection was confirmed at CHOGM 2024 in Samoa, where leaders reaffirmed commitments to tackling global challenges. She takes over from Rt Hon.
