The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has started the licensing of service providers in the gold trading sector, effective April 23, 2025. Ghanaians and fully Ghanaian-owned companies can apply online or in person. The initiative, backed by the Ghana GoldBod Act, 2025, aims to regulate the sector, streamline operations, and enhance national benefits through transparent licensing and compliance with official gold trading rates.
