H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has been sworn in as Namibia’s first female president following her victory in the November 2024 general election. The historic swearing-in ceremony on March 21, 2025, was attended by prominent African female leaders, including H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and H.E. Joyce Banda. Nandi-Ndaitwah, a veteran lawmaker and former foreign minister, now joins the ranks of distinguished women shaping African politics.
