Popular Asante Kotoko fan Nana Pooley was fatally stabbed during a violent incident at Nana Konamansah Park, where Nsoatreman FC hosted Asante Kotoko for Matchweek 19 of the Ghana Premier League. The club condemned the hostility faced by their players, officials, and supporters, citing attacks from sections of the home crowd. Despite being rushed to the hospital after the assault, Nana Pooley tragically did not survive.
