The Government of Ghana has presented 60 pickup trucks and 20 motorbikes to the Ghana Police Service to strengthen the nation’s push towards a 24-hour economy.
The presentation was made by the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak-Mohammed, who said the move forms part of broader efforts to retool the security services and enhance their operational capacity.

The vehicles, assembled locally by Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd, are expected to support a newly established special police unit tasked with providing round-the-clock protection for workers and businesses operating under the 24-hour economy initiative.
Speaking at the event, the Interior Minister said, “This initiative is critical to safeguarding lives and property, especially as Ghana embraces an economic model that runs throughout the day and night.”
The donation marks a significant step in the government’s broader national security and economic development agenda.
