The release contains the following details:

“The National Service Authority (NSA) announces a mandatory transition to a cashless payment system, in alignment with the government’s drive to modernize revenue collection. This shift to digital payments offers greater transparency, convenience, and accessibility for those working with the NSA. Payments can be made 24/7 from anywhere in Ghana via www.ghana.gov.gh or by dialing *222# on all mobile networks. Payment processes can also be initiated from the personnel dashboard for the 10% administrative charge or via invoices sent to the email of the HR/Finance Representative of the user agencies for the 20%.

GHANA.GOV provides a unified digital platform for accessing government services, offering a variety of seamless payment options, including:

  • Bank Cards: Debit and credit cards are accepted.
  • Mobile Money: Dial *222# for services.
  • Online Banking: Use internet banking or bank mobile apps.
  • QR Code: Scan to pay.
  • Direct Transfer: Account-to-account transfer.
  • SWIFT Transfers: For international payments.
  • ACH Transfers: Use ACH for payments.

Henceforth, all entities must cease manual payments to any NSA staff at the district, regional, and headquarters levels, as this method of payment is no longer valid.

The NSA encourages all stakeholders to embrace this new digital payment system for a more convenient and efficient experience, as we collectively support the Government of Ghana in achieving its objective of establishing a cashless economy.

For any inquiries or assistance regarding the new payment procedures, please email info@nss.gov.gh or contact the NSA directly at 0554404422.

Thank you.”
