The Ho West Members of the District General Assembly have confirmed Francis Proferr Dusey as the District Chief Executive (DCE).
Reports indicate that Hon. Proferr Dusey secured 36 ‘Yes’ votes out of 37, representing 97%, in the second round of voting.
It was revealed that President Mahama’s DCE nominee polled 23 ‘Yes’ votes, representing 62%, and 14 ‘No’ votes, representing 38%, in the first round.
The newly confirmed DCE, in his speech after the declaration, pledged to operate an open administration anchored on hard work, discipline, social justice, and inclusivity.
Hon. James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister, and Hon. Francis Proferr Dusey, the Member of Parliament for Ho West, congratulated him and extended their best wishes to him as the new DCE.
