Mahama Appoints Mubarick Masawudu as the Deputy Director-General of Ghana Maritime Authority

President John Mahama has appointed Mubarick Masawudu, the former parliamentary aspirant for the National Democratic Congress in the Asawase constituency, as the new Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA).

His appointment was announced on the official Facebook page of the Ghana Maritime Authority on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Mubarick Masawudu will serve as the deputy to Naval Captain Kamal-Deen Ali, who was appointed as the Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority following the dismissal of Mr. Thomas Kofi Alonsi.

His new appointment and role are expected to enhance efficiency and promote growth at the Ghana Maritime Authority.
