The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reassigned its Head of Public Relations, Cassandra Twum-Ampofo, to the Eastern Regional Directorate as part of a wider internal reshuffle.
The transfer was quietly confirmed on Monday when the Director-General’s Secretary made an unexpected visit to her office, an unusual move that signalled the change in leadership.
In a brief farewell statement on her Facebook page, Ms. Twum-Ampofo reflected on her service at the national level with pride.
“I’m proud of the impact I’ve made as Head of Public Relations. The progress we’ve achieved is visible, and I trust the solid foundation we’ve built will endure.”
She expressed gratitude to her colleagues and superiors at the GES Headquarters and said she looked forward to contributing to educational development in her new role in the Eastern Region.
Ms Twum-Ampofo expressed her excitement in anticipation for the opportunities in Eastern Region.
