Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, the Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, successfully submitted and filed his parliamentary nomination form at the Electoral Commission (EC) office in the Kumawu District on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Hon. Anim was accompanied by Hon. Samuel Addae Agyekum, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kumawu, along with constituency executives and a group of party supporters and well-wishers. His filing marks the beginning of a new chapter in his campaign, as he strives to retain his seat in Parliament.
Reports from the constituency indicate that Hon. Anim has made significant strides since assuming office, garnering strong support from constituents for his development projects and representation. His leadership in addressing local concerns and promoting development initiatives has been positively received by many residents of Kumawu.
In a brief statement after filing his nomination, Hon. Anim expressed his optimism for the upcoming election. He emphasized his desire for a peaceful and successful campaign, with the ultimate goal of securing victory on December 7, 2024. “I look forward to a successful campaign and victory,” he stated.
