Dr. Bryan Acheampong, the Member of Parliament for the Abetifi Constituency in the Eastern Region, has taken a bold step by deploying a special task force across various parts of Ghana. This initiative, according to the MP, is aimed at gathering critical information from ordinary Ghanaians to help shape future policies and interventions.
In a video shared by Dr. Acheampong himself, he disclosed that he has dispatched a team of carefully selected individuals to interact with citizens nationwide. Their task or mission is to collect insights over a period of one (1) month on the peculiar interests, needs, and concerns of the Ghanaian people. The areas of focus include employment and job opportunities, security issues, health, food security, national unity, and other pressing social challenges.
Dr. Acheampong emphasized that the findings of this operation will be instrumental in helping him plan and initiate policies that align with the aspirations of the people. He noted that as he positions himself as a potential flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a future President of the Republic of Ghana, it is crucial to be in touch with the grassroots and understand their real needs.
The Honourable MP also highlighted some of his past contributions to the NPP and the nation, expressing his deep commitment to national development. He described his vision for Ghana as progressive and people-centered, and he looks forward to receiving positive feedback from the special task force operating across the country.
