The Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and the Free Senior High School Secretariat have introduced a Universal Admission Portal to assist all 2026 BECE candidates, parents, and guardians in completing the admission process for their respective placed SHS, SHTS, and TVET schools online.
According to reports, the portal has been introduced to ease the pressure on students and parents who would otherwise have to travel long distances to complete the admission process at their assigned schools.
Through the Universal Admission Portal, students and parents can conveniently access important admission-related services online. These include downloading the school’s prospectus, selecting a class, downloading admission letters, and submitting the required admission documents, among other services.
Candidates, parents, and guardians are therefore encouraged to use the official admission portal to complete the necessary processes and obtain relevant information regarding admission into their placed Senior High Schools (SHSs), Senior High Technical Schools (SHTSs), and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
