Ghanaian gospel musician dies at age 63. Bernice Offei has left behind a remarkable legacy as a gospel musician, songwriter, and professional banker.
She recorded six studio albums, with her sixth album, Life in 2007, which earned her two major honours at the 2009 Ghana Music Awards as Best Female Vocal Performance and Songwriter of the Year.
Bernice was served as professional banker who spent years with Standard Chartered Bank. She held an MPhil in Crop Science from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Information Technology from a university in the United Kingdom.
Bernice Offei was reported missing on September 1, 2026, and was found within 24 hours.
