Alan Kyerematen Consoles Ghana’s Flood Victims, Criticizes Government Inaction

Leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, has extended heartfelt condolences to families affected by the recent devastating floods across the country.

In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mr. Kyerematen expressed solidarity with victims and their families, describing the national situation as dire.

“In these difficult moments, I extend my deepest condolences to families who have lost loved ones, and my heartfelt support to all affected by the devastating floods across our nation,” he wrote.

The former trade minister did not hold back in his criticism of the government’s response to disasters, stating pointedly that “Ghana is tired of No Action, Talk Only (NATO).”

His comment reflects growing public frustration with perceived government delays and inefficiencies in tackling flooding and other emergencies.

The floods have displaced hundreds and destroyed properties, prompting calls for immediate relief measures and long-term infrastructure planning.
