The Ghana Gold Board has announced to the general public that it will officially sign a gold refining agreement with Gold Coast Refinery.
According to the statement, the Ghana Gold Board will, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, formally sign the gold refining agreement with Gold Coast Refinery.
This milestone partnership marks an important step in strengthening Ghana’s gold value chain, enhancing local refining capacity, and advancing the country’s broader industrialisation agenda.
The signing ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Conference Room on the 5th Floor of the GoldBod Head Office in Accra.
The event will be graced by Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, Esq., Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod. Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, MP, Minister for Finance, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, alongside other distinguished personalities.
The statement also invited all media houses to attend the event.
