Ghana’s business mogul Kennedy Agyapong popularly known as “Kenpong”, the powerhouse behind Kenpong Group of Companies, was involved in a frightening solo crash on the Accra–Winneba highway.
Eyewitnesses said the high-speed incident ended with Kenpong’s vehicle smashing through a roadside wall near the Winneba Beach stretch. The mogul himself admits it was fatigue, catching up with him mid-drive.
In a twist that silenced the worst fears, Kenpong walked away alive. Apart from a cut above his eyelid, he says he’s “doing very well” and is currently in Winneba. Social media had been buzzing with grim speculation as some feared the worst but Kenpong’s calm voice has poured cold water on the rumors.
The CEO, famed for ventures spanning telecom engineering, sports, construction, and tourism, has been flooded with messages from fans, business allies, and Ghanaian music lovers especially those who know of his close ties to Highlife legend Daddy Lumba.
According to the eyewitness, the crash could have ended in tragedy. Instead, Kenpong’s continues living proofs that sometimes, fortune really does favor the fearless.
