EC Declares Ewurabena Aubynn as Member of Parliament-Elect for Ablekuma North

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has declared Ewurabena Aubynn as the newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ablekuma North Constituency.

It is important to note that the EC was initially unable to collate the parliamentary results for the 2024 election due to missing pink sheets and other challenges related to the electoral process in the Ablekuma North Constituency.

After several unsuccessful attempts by the EC to resolve the issue, a rerun election was conducted in 19 polling stations.

The rerun was held on Friday, July 11, 2025. Following the vote, Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie of the NPP received 33,881 votes, while Ewurabena Aubynn of the NDC secured 34,090 votes.

The Electoral Commission has officially announced the results and declared Ewurabena Aubynn as the elected Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North.
