President Mahama launches Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy policy, targeting 1.7 million new jobs and continuous economic activity backed by billions in public and private investment.
“We were devastated when the letters came. It felt like our dreams were being cut short.”
“We must help produce entrepreneurs who can create their own jobs and not rely on government,” said Education Minister, Hon.. Haruna Iddrisu after announcing a €5 million TVET grant from Italy.
“This is a crackdown on fraud, but also a step toward greater efficiency,” Mr Gyamfi noted.
“This initiative is more than a job creation strategy — it is a practical solution to boost emergency response while empowering young Ghanaians to contribute to national development.”
“I did not deceive myself that we would end galamsey in four months—but we will never give up,” President Mahama said.
“We are not just creating jobs—we are building a new generation of business leaders,” President Mahama stated.
