The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has revealed that many doctorate degrees held by Ghanaians are not genuine, as they were awarded by unaccredited foreign institutions. The Commission says the ongoing crackdown is aimed at protecting the integrity of Ghana’s tertiary education system.
