The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) will, from next month, begin reimbursing academic user fees for all eligible first-year students in Ghana’s public tertiary institutions. This initiative falls under the “No-Fees-Stress” policy and targets students enrolled in accredited diploma or degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of SLTF, Dr. Saajida Shiraz, the reimbursements are in line with policy directives from the Ministry of Education and reflect the broader vision of the John Dramani Mahama administration to ease financial burdens on students and invest in the nation’s human capital.

Applications for the reimbursement open next month and must be submitted online through the official portal: https://nofeesstress.sltf.gov.gh. All applications will be validated against admissions data from public tertiary institutions to confirm eligibility.
