Netanyahu was accompanied by his Chief-of-Staff, Tzachi Braverman; his Military Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Roman Gofman; and his Spokesperson, Dr. Omer Dostri. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the soldiers and intelligence officers for their crucial role in ensuring the security of the State of Israel.

After the briefing, Netanyahu emphasized the significance of the intelligence work being carried out at the base. “I have just finished visiting one of our intelligence bases, and I am highly impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the team here. I have full confidence in the continued efforts of our soldiers,” he remarked. As a way of reaffirming Israel’s stance, he added, “We will continue striking Hezbollah.”

Netanyahu also directed a message to the people of Lebanon, making a clear distinction between the Lebanese citizens and the militant group Hezbollah. “Our war is not with you, but with Hezbollah,” he stressed. He further urged the Lebanese people to free themselves from the influence of Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

“But I tell you something else: Hezbollah is putting your country in danger. Free yourselves from Hezbollah’s grip. Free yourselves from Nasrallah’s control, for your own good,” he concluded.
