The Moulders Chapel International, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Aggrey, has officially launched Moulders 92.9 FM in Cape Coast, marking a significant milestone in faith-based and community-oriented broadcasting in the Central Region of Ghana.
The launch event took place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Moree Junction within the Cape Coast Metropolis. The ceremony attracted a wide range of distinguished personalities from the religious, political, and media landscapes, reflecting the importance of the occasion and the high expectations surrounding the new radio station.
Among the notable guests present were Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Aggrey, the Head Pastor of Moulders Chapel International; Hon. Justice George Arthur, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Cape Coast; and Captain Smart, the renowned Morning Show Host of Onua TV. Several other clergy members, traditional leaders, media practitioners, and residents of Cape Coast were also in attendance to witness the historic launch.
As part of the programme, Captain Smart conducted live interviews with some of the key personalities present. He also tested the broadcast quality and reach of Moulders 92.9 FM, engaging the audience on-site and listeners across Cape Coast and beyond. This interactive segment showcased the station’s technical strength, sound clarity, and readiness to deliver professional radio services to the public.
Delivering a brief, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Aggrey highlighted the vision and motivation behind the establishment of Moulders 92.9 FM. He explained that the station was born out of a strong desire to provide wholesome, educational, and inspirational content that would promote moral values, social development, and unity among the people of the Central Region and Ghana as a whole. He emphasized that the station would serve as a platform for balanced information, responsible journalism, and community empowerment.
Rev. Dr. Aggrey also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all invited guests and well-wishers for honouring the invitation and supporting the vision of the church.
