The Ashanti Region is currently hosting three key sector ministers:
- Minister for Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness – Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare (MP)
- Minister for Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness – Hon. George Opare Addo
- Minister for Education – Hon. Haruna Iddrisu (MP)
This was hinted at by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, in a Facebook post. It must be noted that all these three government officials are cabinet minsters who are the team working with the President and Vice President to achieve the government’s goal of #resetting Ghana.
While the regional minister is yet to disclose the full details, the presence of these high-ranking officials is already arousing a lot of discussions; are there ongoing major policy discussions aimed at improving the region, are these official in the region to inspect government project, or are there some groundbreaking initiatives that could shape the region’s future.
