The U.S. Embassy in Ghana has announced that applications are now open for OneBeat 15. This is a fantastic opportunity for Ghanaian musicians to join a month-long music exchange program in the United States.

In a post sighted on the official Twitter (now X) page of the US Embassy in Ghana, they announced that the program is due to happen next year.

This program which is scheduled for April and May 2025, will bring together 25 talented artists from 54 countries and territories. This will afford the lucky musicians the opportunity to collaborate and explore new musical ideas across different cultures.

What is OneBeat?

OneBeat is an international music exchange program created by the U.S. Department of State. Since 2012, OneBeat has connected musicians from around the world to create new music and work on projects that use music to bring people together and solve social problems.

But OneBeat is more than just a music program. It’s about using music to connect cultures and make a positive impact. During the month-long program, participants will join workshops, perform in concerts, and take part in community projects. The goal is to create music that not only sounds good but also makes a difference.
