The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES), with support from the Centre for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS), wishes to inform Heads of all Second Cycle Institutions, particularly double-track schools that arrangements have been made to engage Form One SHS/SHTS students virtually.

According to the letter issued, Form One students have already completed nine (9) weeks in school, and it has become necessary to continue their academic work for the remaining three (3) weeks of the term through virtual learning.

Lessons will be organized and broadcast to students as follows:

  • Platform: Channel MoE TV (available on Multi TV)
  • Start Date: Monday, September 1, 2025
  • End Date: Friday, September 19, 2025
  • Time: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily

All students are encouraged to download the full set of curriculum resources and textbooks from the microsite: curriculumresources.edu.gh. It was emphasized that access to the site is completely data-free.

Regional Directors have been requested to communicate this arrangement by GES to MMDs Directors and Heads of SHS/SHTS for onward dissemination to parents and students. The letter also urged Heads of SHS/SHTS to inform Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) to ensure that their wards fully participate in the virtual learning sessions during the stated period.
