Over the two days, the Director-General and his team delivered various presentations covering a wide range of topics crucial to the effective management of Senior High and Technical Schools. The key areas of focus included strategic management, legal issues, guidance and counseling, auditing, the Ghana Education Service Management Information System (GESMIS), and the Public Financial Management (PFM) Act. These topics were carefully selected to provide the heads of schools with the necessary tools and knowledge to handle the complex administrative and managerial demands of their positions.

The aim of the workshop was to equip the heads of Senior High and Technical Schools with the skills needed to adapt to the dynamic growth and development challenges of the 21st century. As educational institutions continue to evolve, the role of school heads becomes increasingly complex, requiring a blend of traditional leadership skills and modern management techniques. The workshop, therefore, emphasized the importance of staying current with best practices in education management and being proactive in addressing the various legal and financial issues that may arise.

Dr. Eric Nkansah, in his closing remarks, expressed his appreciation to the heads of schools for their active participation in the workshop. He emphasized the importance of such capacity-building initiatives in fostering a more effective and efficient education system in Ghana.

Dr. Nkansah also hinted at plans to organize similar workshops in other regions of the country.
