The Office of the Asantehene, headed by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has announced to the general public the final burial arrangements for Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
The letter was addressed to the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Dr. William Kwame Amankra Appiah, inviting him and the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate to the final burial rites of the late Asantehemaa.
According to the release, the final burial of Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Queen Mother of the Asante Kingdom, is scheduled over a period of four (4) days in Kumasi, from Monday, September 15, 2025, to Thursday, September 18, 2025.
“The Royal Family and the entire Kingdom would be honoured to have you mourn with us on this solemn occasion,” the letter stated.
To facilitate further communication, the Manhyia Palace wishes to indicate that the Funeral Protocol Team has been assigned the responsibility of liaising with the general public and other institutions/organizations to ensure proper arrangements for attendance.
