The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced to the general public on the selection of its Majority Caucus Leadership for the 9th Parliament.

“The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is pleased to announce the selected leaders of the Majority Caucus for the 9th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana.
Following extensive deliberations by the National Executive Committee in consultation with the NDC Majority Caucus in Parliament, the following distinguished Members of Parliament have been designated to serve in leadership roles: .
- Majority Leader: Hon. Mahama Ayariga, MP for Bawku Central .
- Deputy Majority Leader: Hon.George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, MP for Cape Coast South .
- Majority Chief Whip: Hon.Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor, MP for South Dayi.
- First Deputy Majority Whip: Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, MP for Ada
- Second Deputy Majority Whip: Hon. Richard Acheampong, MP for Bia East
This decision underscores the NDC’s commitment to upholding the principles of effective representation and leadership in Parliament. The selection process was conducted in compliance with all legal frameworks and established parliamentary practices.
The Party has officially communicated these appointments to the Speaker of Parliament, with a request to take the necessary steps to formalize the appointments in line with the established traditions of the House.
