The Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), established in March 2018, is one of the flagship projects of Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want. It is a high-ambition trade agreement with a comprehensive scope, including critical areas of Africa’s economy such as digital trade, investment protection, and other key sectors. AfCFTA aims to significantly boost intra-African trade, particularly in value-added production and across all sectors of Africa’s economy.
INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY
The AfCFTA is seeking to pre-qualify reputable and qualified companies interested in supplying goods, services, non-consulting services, and works for upcoming tenders. Detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) will be provided to pre-qualified bidders as needed.
ELIGIBILITY
This invitation is open to both local and international vendors/contractors. Applicants must not be under a declaration of suspension for corrupt, fraudulent, collusive, coercive, or obstructive practices by the AU, UN, World Bank, or other public institutions, either currently or in the past.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The AfCFTA will assess the information provided in the vendor pre-qualification form, followed by a more detailed technical evaluation of vendors selected for pre-qualification.

In the Google Form, applicant are entreated to attach the following required documents:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Company Profile
- Evidence of Tax Payment
- Labour Certificates (specific to works)
- Evidence of Public Procurement registration, when available (local companies: PPA Certificate)
- Evidence of valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificates, Category (D3/K3) [specific to works]
- At least three recent references or evidence of similar services/goods executed in the past (client references)
- Evidence of previous contracts with AfCFTA or AU, if applicable (optional)
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted no later than Monday, 20th January 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (GMT, Ghana time).
