Hon. Ablakwa revealed that the donation came in the form of a 40-foot shipping container filled with these crucial supplies. He highlighted his vision of transforming the Mepe Health Centre into a fully modern hospital by the end of the next year. With this remarkable collection of equipment, the Centre is well on its way to achieving that goal.

In his statement, Hon. Ablakwa expressed his deep satisfaction with the progress made towards this vision and reflected on the importance of rebuilding and improving healthcare infrastructure in North Tongu. He emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader effort to recover and restore the region following the devastating impact of the Volta River Authority’s (VRA) dam spillage from the Akosombo and Kpong Dams last year.

Hon. Ablakwa also extended his heartfelt gratitude to his partners at SOS International, headquartered in the USA, for their invaluable support and successful collaboration in this project. Additionally, he acknowledged the contributions of his constituents, the Citi FM Foundation, and the Ghana Chamber of Mines for their roles in sponsoring the physical construction of the Health Centre.
