The Ghana Grid Company LTD. The press release indicated that some areas across the country have already experienced these interruptions, affecting the Ghanaian economy.

The West Africa Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo) explained in a statement that the reduction in gas supply is due to maintenance works being undertaken by a gas supplier in Nigeria. As a result, there has been a reduction in overall power generation capacity in Ghana, which could lead to load management measures during this period.
