Job Description – What GES Expects from You
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Facilitate learning using 21st‑century technology
- Cater to learners with different learning needs and help them achieve excellent outcomes
- Continuously improve learners’ ability to research using new technologies
- Use a variety of assessment tools to accurately measure learner competencies
- Follow the National Teaching Standards and Code of Conduct to ensure professionalism and ethical behaviour
- Participate in relevant continuous professional development sessions
Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education OR a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) , Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) , or Diploma in Basic Education
- Have completed National Service
- Be in good standing with the National Teaching Council (NTC) and possess a valid Teaching License
- Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
- Be ready and willing to accept posting to deprived districts
