John Bosco Nago has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Youth Organizer of the Lambussie Constituency in the Upper West Region of Ghana, a decision he says is inspired by persistent calls from the grassroots and a deep sense of responsibility to serve the youth and the Party.
According to him, these calls brought hidden talents to the fore and demanded that love for the Party be demonstrated through service, commitment, and sacrifice. Specifically, they were calls asking him to avail himself for the role of Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lambussie Constituency.
John Bosco Nago brings to the contest a solid academic and political background that reflects his long-standing commitment to youth activism and party work. He is currently an LLB student at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana (2025 to date), and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French from the University of Ghana (2020–2024). He has also completed serving as a National Service Person at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Accra for the 2024/2025 service year.
His political and leadership experience includes serving as a member of the NCB Social Media Communications Team since 2024, representing the Lambussie Constituency on the Youth Wing Special Project in the Upper West Region from June to December 2024, and previously heading the Publicity Committee of UG-ACC TEIN during the 2023/2024 academic year. He also served as SRC Secretary of Wa Senior High Technical School in the 2019/2020 academic year, demonstrating early leadership and organisational skills.
He believes the calls to serve have ignited renewed hope among the youth, whom he describes as the engine of the Party and deserving of strong, credible, and trustworthy leadership. In responding affirmatively, John Bosco Nago says his decision represents a commitment to achieving collective goals, restoring confidence, and strengthening trust within the Party.
As an individual who is guided by party elders, energised by the youth, and supported by members across the Lambussie Constituency, John Bosco Nago has formally announced his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Youth Organizer in the upcoming constituency elections, pledging to work tirelessly for the growth of the Party and the development of the district.
