The Government of Ghana has officially confirmed the sudden passing of Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
In a statement issued by Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu (MP) and Minister for Government Communications, the government announced to the general public the sorrowful and untimely death of the former First Lady and founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement, Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
According to the statement, her death occurred on Thursday, October 23, 2025, after a short illness at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
The government also extended its deepest condolences to her immediate family.
