The Ministry of Health has officially opened applications for the recruitment of medical and dental officers who have completed their housemanship and have been duly verified by the Medical and Dental Council under the 34th and 35th lists.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry announced that the recruitment portal will go live at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, 16 May 2025. Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications via the official Ministry of Health online portal, hr.moh.gov.gh, and must do so by the deadline of 6:00 p.m. on Monday, 26 May 2025.
The Ministry further stressed the transparency of the process, warning prospective applicants against paying any money to individuals claiming to offer assistance in securing placement.
“Applicants should beware of any person who may approach them on the pretext of assisting them for recruitment at a fee. Whoever pays money does so at his or her own risk,” the Ministry cautioned.
Successful candidates will be posted to agencies under the Ministry of Health in accordance with the country’s health workforce requirements.
