President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Kwasi Amankwaa, popularly known as Tom C, as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Kumawu District.
This was made known to the general public through a press release from the Office of the President on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
It is important to note that Kwasi Amankwaa was the parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 general elections in Ghana.
The letter stressed that his nomination is pending approval by the District Assembly.
